Last Updated: August 1, 2026
Welcome to Between Us: the Mother Daughter Collective ("Between Us," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase or participation in our retreats, workshops, events, and other programs.
By accessing our website or registering for a Between Us program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Program Registration
Registration is not complete until payment has been successfully received and any required registration information and agreements have been submitted. Space in our programs may be limited. Registration is generally provided on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to notify us if important information changes.
2. Payments
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment must be made according to the terms presented at the time of registration. For programs requiring a deposit or installment payments, the deposit and payment schedule will be clearly identified during registration.
Failure to make a required payment by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of payments already made, subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
Each program may have its own cancellation and refund policy. The cancellation policy presented during registration applies to that specific program. By completing registration, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to the applicable cancellation and refund policy.
4. Program Changes
Between Us reserves the right to modify program schedules, facilitators, activities, locations, or other program details when reasonably necessary. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to registered participants.
For destination retreats, circumstances outside our control—including weather, transportation disruptions, venue issues, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances—may require changes to the itinerary.
5. Participant Conduct
We are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment. Participants agree to:
Treat other participants, facilitators, staff, and vendors respectfully
Respect reasonable requests from retreat and workshop staff
Avoid harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive behavior
Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of other participants
Follow applicable venue, hotel, transportation, and activity rules
Between Us reserves the right to remove a participant from a program for serious or disruptive conduct. Except where required by applicable law, removal for misconduct does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
6. Educational & Wellness Programs
Between Us programs may include educational discussions, wellness activities, guest speakers, licensed professionals, yoga, meditation, sound healing, parenting education, peer support, and other experiences. Unless expressly stated otherwise, our programs are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, or individualized professional care.
Participants remain responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for them and for seeking individualized professional advice when necessary. Additional terms and acknowledgments may apply to specific programs.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, materials provided by Between Us—including written materials, presentations, worksheets, curriculum, graphics, photographs, videos, branding, and other content—are owned by or licensed to Between Us. Materials are provided for the participant's personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, publish, or commercially use our materials without prior written permission.
8. Participant Content
If you voluntarily submit testimonials, feedback, photographs, comments, or other content to Between Us, you grant us permission to use that content for legitimate business and promotional purposes, subject to any separate consent or media-release terms that apply.
We will not represent that a participant endorses Between Us beyond the scope of the permission provided.
9. Third-Party Services
Between Us may use third-party providers for payment processing, website services, email communications, transportation, lodging, activities, or other services. Those providers may have their own terms and policies. Between Us is not responsible for the independent acts, policies, or practices of third parties except as required by applicable law.
10. Website Use
You agree not to use our website in a manner that violates applicable law, interferes with the operation or security of the website, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems or information.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Between Us and its owners, employees, facilitators, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in our programs or use of our website. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Participant Agreement & Disclaimer
Educational Program, Not Therapy
I understand that Between Us workshops, retreats and programs are educational and supportive experiences designed to provide information, discussion, reflection, and practical parenting tools. They are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
Any licensed therapist or other professional participating in the program is serving in an educational or workshop capacity and is not establishing a therapist-client relationship with me through my participation in this program.
I understand that information shared during the workshop should not be considered a substitute for individualized professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice. If I am experiencing a mental-health concern or crisis, I understand that I should seek appropriate care from a qualified professional.
Personal Responsibility
I understand that discussions may involve emotionally sensitive topics and that participation is voluntary. I am responsible for determining what I am comfortable sharing and participating in.
I understand that Between Us does not guarantee any particular personal, parenting, family, or emotional outcome as a result of participating in the workshop, retreat or program.
Confidentiality & Respect
I agree to respect the privacy of other participants and not record, photograph, screenshot, or share another participant's comments, personal information, or identifying details without their permission.
I understand, however, that Between Us cannot guarantee confidentiality in a group setting because other participants may not follow these guidelines.
Technology & Virtual Participation
I understand that participation requires an internet connection and compatible device. Between Us is not responsible for technical difficulties, internet outages, or interruptions outside of its reasonable control.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I voluntarily participate in the program and assume responsibility for my participation. I release Between Us, its owners, facilitators, guest professionals, contractors, and representatives from claims arising from my voluntary participation, except to the extent such release is prohibited by applicable law.
Acknowledgment
By registering, I confirm that I have read and understand these terms and voluntarily agree to participate in the program.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because workshops, retreats and all programs have limited capacity and require advance planning, registration fees are non-refundable once registration is completed.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person with advance written notice to Between Us.
If Between Us must cancel or reschedule a workshop, retreat and all program, registered participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled date or receive a full refund of the registration fee.
Between Us is not responsible for individual scheduling conflicts, internet connectivity issues, or a participant's inability to access the virtual platform.
